Alpha Chi is a general honor society that admits only the top 10 percent of an institution’s juniors, seniors, and graduate students from all academic disciplines. Each year, the organization conducts and participates in scholarly and service activities on campus and sends students to the Alpha Chi national conference to represent ACU. Members of Alpha Chi honor society are also recognized in the program at commencement, and are eligible to wear the cords of the honor society when they graduate. On a national scale, Alpha Chi has approximately 300 chapters and inducts more than 11,000 members annually.
